The Second Prize in the Young Scientists Contest at the International Radar Symposium for Apostolos Pappas (MS3)

PhD candidate Apostolos Pappas won Second Prize in the Young Scientists Contest at the IRS (International Radar Symposium) conference in Krakow last week for his paper, “Adaptive Multi-Modal Doppler Spectrum Estimation.”
The research project explores how radar networks can be used to improve weather monitoring. It is part of an NWO Open Technology Programme project in collaboration with the faculty TU Delft | Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG), Department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing (GRS).
